We have been having some really bizarre weather lately. Usually we would expect to be frozen solid at this time of year with a reasonable covering of snow on the ground, however yesterday we reached almost sixty degrees and there is virtually no snow or ice left anywhere. Of course living in Chicago, we are realistic enough to realise that this won't last but hey its nice to get one warm day in February! Today we are getting thunder storms and then as the week ends we are supposed to chill back down again.
This morning, before the rain arrived I woke up to a rather odd view from my apartment.
Going..........
Going..........
Gone!!!
Are we auditioning for a Stephen King movie or something?

How cool that you caught this on camera. It IS as good as a movie!! Thanks for sharing it with the rest of us!
Wow. That is amazing. My friend Danielle lives in Ohio. They had a day off last week because of the fog. I thought she was kidding, but now I can see that it was really a problem! Wow!
That's very beautiful! And it takes me back to my childhood in London. We lived in a block of flats (apartments) and although it wasn't very high, we used to get views like this when the 'pea-soupers' rolled in. Those fogs were something else. You couldn't see your hand in front of your face, sometimes. And, of course, they weren't such a nice clean white.
Wow...Celeste that are fantastic and crazy pictures!Absolutly great shots! You have a fantastic view from your window!
That is great Celeste..We had fog too...and lots of flooding and now snow...sigh...Michelle
