Well, as my life still seems to be spinning out of control, I am not even managing to keep up with my blog, so just to show that I haven't given up completely I thought I would at least post some pictures for this weeks ABC Wednesday even if I can't spare the time to write much to go along with them! This week I have G for Giant Galapagos Tortoise. I love these humble, gentle giants and I am so happy that I actually got to spend some time with them in what is left of their natural environment.
I know what I want to post for next week so I am hoping that I will get some time to do it properly! Until then, have a great week and don't forget to check out ABC Wednesday for many great postings.

Such strange prehistoric looking beasts. I love to meet turtles under water, they make a great show.
They are incredible creatures, aren't they? I've never seen one, only on television, but I'd like to. Such grace and economy of movement! Beautiful in itself.
Don't work so hard that you get sick Celeste...I had to laugh at these big guys as it made me remember our pet Max and how he looked with lettuce hanging from his mouth.. Lovely childhood memory.. Michelle

I don't know what ABC Wednesday is, but visit for the photos instead of the words most of the time. So it is fine with me you didn't say alot about the photos. I think these photos do speak for themself, because they are all so good. I especially like the 2nd photo.
