Sunlit Seed-heads
I love how many different forms of seed-heads grasses produce and the late afternoon autumn sunlight shows them off perfectly.

I love the composition of the first photo. Plain grass has more going for it than people think...I'm always amazed just how many species there are.
And in the form of grains, it has us humans nicely domesticated and trained.
Great shots. I love seed heads and agree the light is so wonderful on them this time of year.
I was just thinking that when I walked by the fall grasses along the house which turn red...they are beautiful and I wish more people would plant them....Michelle
Beautiful images, the colors and lighting are very pretty.
Lovely closeups! I'm inspired to look for grass seed heads tomorrow...if the sun shines, that is. :)
I see you have been enjoying nature's beauty! Just lovely!
