SKYWATCH FRIDAY - SCILLONIAN SKIES

Unfortunately I can't take any of the credit for this series of photos as my husband took them all, but I was there! On our recent visit to Cornwall we took a little three day trip to the Isles of Scilly (more about this magical place soon) and on our first night there, after a long delicious dinner we strolled out to the headland and sat to watch the sky over the ocean. The delightful part about this was that the sun didn't set until around ten o'clock so we didn't even have to have an early dinner!

And then a leisurely stroll back to our room where we were lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves.

Check out Skywatch Friday, it's the place to be on a Friday night!!

Am I more jealous of the sunset over the ocean or the lulling to sleep by the waves? Tough call. And I LOVE the moon. I think I like a skinny little moon almost better than a full moon. (That's a tough call, too.)

Beautiful series of shots and a fitting end to a delicious dinner :-)

Like Louise, I'm a bit jealous of the being lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves. I really miss not living by the ocean anymore...

So glad you had some private quiet time together. There is no nicer place I could think of than watching a woderful gentle sunset after a great meal. Something really nice to remember whern you are back at work.

Hubby did a great job Celeste. Those are beautiful and how nice to be able to walk along the water on a summer evening....Michelle

Wow....your hubby is quite the photographer. Of course it sounds as if there were no bad vistas to see...and what a lovely way to end the perfect day together.
