SKYWATCH FRIDAY (Pretty in Pink)

Our condo is a corner unit. I love to gaze out over the lake because it is the nearest I can get to a 'natural' scene, my husband loves to look at the city. Last night we both had a treat.

As the sun started to sink, the sky over the lake turned a wonderful colour, mixing soft pinks and lilacs and the water pumping station was lit up by the sun.

A little while later the moon rose over the city and the buildings started to glow in the evening light.

After the sun had set there was still a wonderful indigo colour to the sky and the moon sailed majestically above.

The shot with the moon is my favorite. I like the way the light is touching the taller buildings.

My Sky Watch Friday blog is at my Canon Pixels blog. If you have time I would appreciate your having a look at the sky peeking through the oak tree leaves.

Wondeful series of photos. I love how the sky changes color. I read your sidebar. I love Ornithology, herpatology and Earl grey tea too! What a wonderful view to have while you sip a cup of tea!
